Its best feature is that after a couple of minutes of each coat being "cured" under a UV light, it's dry. Not just touch dry, but tap-on-the table, fish-your-keys-from-your-handbag dry - no smudges, no dents, no smell. Put you boots on and leave your jandals at home! Polish is shiny and remains absolutely chip-free after nearly two weeks. SHELLAC is designed to last 14 days and requires salon removal, but without the damaging drilling or the sometimes harsh filing or soaking fake nail removal can involve. If you are going away for longer you can purchase the kit that safely removes it in 10 minutes. The polish could easily last longer, but you will notice your nail growth is starting to expose an unpainted area at the cuticle which is why fortnightly is the suggested repaint time (similar to the nail backfilling guideline). Application involves the usual base coat, two thin colour coats and a top coat, with the UV light curing the polish. That's worth paying for a special occasion such as a business trip or a holiday, wedding and honeymoon when a groomed appearance is essential but you don't want to waste time fixing up flaws. For a polish guaranteed to last, SHELLAC is ideal.

Introduction Omega 3 essential fatty acids have long been recognised for their significant health benefits. Clinical studies have determined that the main benefits are derived from DHA (Docosahexaenoic Acid) and to a lesser extent EPA (Eicosapentaenoic Acid). Although you will receive various health benefits from Omega 3's when taken from plant sources such as flax seed, you may miss out on the special benefits from DHA and EPA. This is because your body has to convert the Omega 3's into DHA and EPA. If your health is compromised in any way, or you are elderly this conversion may not take place. Only fish oils provide DHA and EPA in a natural form that your body can easily assimilate. No conversion is required by the body. However, natural fish oils have a number of drawbacks: · High levels of contaminants in the form of PCB's, and heavy metals including mercury. · As most fish oil in capsules does not come from the same country where it is encapsulated it is subject to transport in tankers, additional handling and additives to prevent it from becoming rancid. · Low levels of DHA which is the most beneficial component of fish oil.
